I have the original Presonus AudioBox 2x2 - using it with a macbook pro, earlier with a g5 tower - - have used it with studio one, garageband, and logic express - all work just fine with the audiobox. really quite a versatile little box - bought my used for $60 from ebay - I think they run about $150 new...I guess i will just get the Presonus AudioBox 22vsl and 2 SM57's since that is what seems to be what everyone uses for guitar
if I had a Mac and needed a on the cheaps interface I'd get a Mackie Onyx Blackjack
