the D and G string is dull as fuck
it's a model of bass, the pickup in the neck position is considered "Precision pickup". they typically have a nice fat sound, where as a Fender Jazz bass would be thought of as a brighter instrument. in reality you can get a decent Precision tone out of a Jazz and vice versa.
this bass has active pickups (needs a battery), and a Jazz pickup in the bridge position. the body is also smaller than a normal precision, and it has more frets. oh, and no pickguard
