    The Open Jam Fitness Thread

I know there's at least a couple people here who contributed to the HC one, so let's keep it goin' here while we can't access the other one.

So far, I'm down 9.4 lbs in 20 days, and 15 lbs overall since December 1st. I also don't appear to have lost much muscle. I'm at 159.0 this morning, and would like to get into the 140s. My vertical will destroy all, as that'll be a 25 lb drop from when I started playing volleyball last summer.

Also, feels good to be lifting heavy again. Over break, it was all yoga and bodyweight for me. I'm still doing that too, but fortunately it was enough to keep me in shape so the DOMS weren't so terrible the first week back lifting.

How be the progress gents? I know at least izzy will chime in...

Im up to 208. Would like to get back down to 190-195. Just watching what I eat & staying away from regular sodas . Im still in my weight range for my size (6'4) so I cant complain.

Like a boss. Just posted an update over on HC, so I'll copypasta here...

"Well, after almost 3 weeks on the ECA stack, and about a week on Keto, my blood pressure is right about normal as of today. So no issues there, heart rate is also right on.

Still on a mission for Men's Fitness cover bodyfat %...probably 10-12 lbs to go. But they're gonna be the toughest by far. Weighed in at 158.4 yesterday, down from 173 back in December."

I started Tai Chi, Yoga and Pilates at work last week. I'm trying to improvie my flexibility and core strength. I've also completed the Couch to 5K running program and am now in week 2 of the 5K to 10K program. I'm currently doing a spilt with weights where it's Push day and cardio (running), Leg day and cardio (running) and then Pull day and cardio (running). I also run on the days between. I'm trying to build up the endurance to run a half marathon in May. This may interrupt my cycling a bit but finishing a half marathon would be a big deal to me. As far as weight goes I'm at 157-160. Down form 255-260 at this time last year.

Nice! I recently started Yoga myself, and am trying to work up to a 5 k. I'm a sprinter, so distance is rough. I won't run a 5k until I can do one on a treadmill in under 20 mins.

I'm going to the gym to work shoulders today. I'm trying to cut fat, but not really trying that hard. I eat clean food all the time anyway and I don't really want to starve myself of carbs while I'm at school because it just makes me grumpy and stupid.

Ha, went snowboarding for another 12 hours yesterday. Thought I tore my ACL or LCL. Stuck the board in some packed snow/ice, and heard my knee twist and crunch. Sounded worse than it was, so I'm fine today. Back at it 100% on Monday. I have a dream....that one day, my abs will show through my shirt.

I worked my shoulders really hard yesterday after some time on the spin bike and 3k on the rowing machine. They are noticeably sore today.
